BRIGHTWOOD COLLEGE IN LAREDO TO HOST CAREER FAIR MAY 24
Brightwood College in Laredo will host a Career Fair Wednesday, May 24 from
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the campus located at 6410
McPherson Road. The event is free and open to the
public, featuring career development opportunities, refreshments, giveaways,
mock interviews, an online job fair, campus tours and program demonstrations.
Attendees will be entered to win prizes such as a Chromebook and an Amazon gift
card. Community members planning to attend must call 956-717-5909 to
register with the campus prior to the event.
The event is part of Brightwood College parent company Education Corporation of America’s national Career Fair events being held at 63 other Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute and Virginia College locations throughout 17 states.

Community partners and local employers
representing Doctor's Hospital, Laredo Medical Center, Border Patrol, U.S.
Customs, Laredo Police Department, Valley Day and Night, Molina Healthcare,
Driscoll Children Health Center, IBC Bank, BBVA, Area Health Education Center
and multiple private physicians will be present at the Career Fair.
The event will also allow attendees to explore
the programs offered through Brightwood College, including: Business
Administration, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and Patient
Care Technician programs.
