Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and it’s known for being a special day when everyone is expected to go buy their loved ones everything they can find at the local florist, shopping centers or mall; cards, chocolate and stuffed animals. But what if the “special someone” in your life is actually not a human? More specifically, your pet. STAT Emergency Center of Laredo wants all pet lovers to share the love of their invaluable companions by posting a pet photo on our Facebook page. For every photo shared, STAT Emergency Center will donate $1 to the Laredo Animal Protective Society. In addition to the donation, STAT will award the owner of the “Most Liked” photo a prize package courtesy of Petco.

Fundraising and contest details are as follows:

• Post your pet photo on our Facebook page between the dates of February 1st - 7th on https://www.facebook.com/StatEmergency or email photo with contact details to jsolis@statlaredo.com
• All Photos received by February 7th will be uploaded to our Pet Photo Album where votes will be recorded and tallied
• Most “Likes” contest begins February 8th and ends at 6pm on February 14th
• Winner will be announced on Monday, February 15th and will be contacted by STAT Emergency Center’s Director of Marketing
