Uber Eats
to Launch in Killeen, Laredo, and McAllen-Brownsville
We recently announced that by
the end of the year, Uber Eats will be rolling out into new cities to cover 70%
of the U.S. population. On Thursday, November 15, Uber Eats will launch in
Killeen, Laredo, and McAllen-Brownsville.
“We’re excited to continue on our
momentum by growing in Texas,” said Travis Considine, a spokesperson for Uber
Eats in Texas. “We are excited to enter new areas around the state, provide
flexible work opportunities for these communities and make it easy for hungry
customers to get their favorite, local foods delivered.”
Uber Eats is Uber's stand-alone
meal delivery app that makes getting food as easy as requesting a ride, whether
you're at home, the office, or the park. As Uber Eats grows around the world,
we are able to build upon Uber’s logistics and technology platform to continue
to expand in markets where Uber ride-sharing already operates. However, we are
also beginning to launch in markets where Uber rides use is smaller.
Eaters can choose from several
restaurants in their area including:
Killeen: Lily's
Cakes, O'Briens Pub, Chef Ras Kitchen, Sweet Eileen
McAllen-Brownsville:
Bar-B-Cuties Smokehouse, Motoramen, Wichitos Buffet & Restaurant, Kato
Sushi, Papa Taco
Laredo: Pat’s
Kitchen, Raul's BBQ, Jalapeno's Pizza & Wings, TKO Sports Bar, La Unica by
Shiloh
