(APRIL 18, 2017) LAREDO, TEXAS – IBC Bank–Laredo is proud to announce the grand opening of its 21st location at The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening reception held in conjunction with the Laredo Chamber of Commerce. 

IBC Bank–Laredo President Imelda Navarro announced at the event the "banquito" will be open to customers 7 days a week during the mall’s business hours. 

"We are thrilled to offer shoppers at this beautiful new outlet mall a convenient option to help with their banking needs every day of the week," Navarro said. "Laredo has become a true shopping destination for not just locals, but also our friends in Mexico. IBC continues to offer top-notch banking services to our customers on both sides of the border."

The ribbon-cutting event was attended by several high-ranking city and county officials as well as the Laredo Chamber of Commerce President Miguel Conchas. The Chamber presented IBC Bank with a plaque to be displayed at the new location.

Evelyn Sames, Bethany House Vice-President, was there to help mark the occasion by receiving a $5,000.00 check from Navarro to help support the work that Bethany House provides to the community. Bethany House is a non-profit organization that began its work of feeding the hungry in Laredo in 1982.

"IBC Bank continues to show how committed it is to our community through acts such as this donation to Bethany House." Sames said. "We value the Bank, not only for its support of Bethany House, but as a Laredo based institution it is an example to other banks all over the state of what a community bank can be, both in terms of convenience through having branches like this, to supporting good works in its community.
