Let's Chalk About Mental Health
September is Suicide Awareness Month. All month long mental health advocates, suicide prevention groups, survivors and other organizations unite to promote awareness on this important issue. Judge Tijerina and Commissioners Court would like to invite everyone to Chalk about Mental Health. We will be chalking positive messages around Commissioners Court sidewalk to help anyone who may be struggling and for those who have lost someone to suicide. Students from Webb County will be displaying their talent at the entrance of our courthouse. Over 20 community partners will participate and have a booth with information. We will also have Tacolare Express, Habibis Snack Shack, El Puesto and Chicharroink Food Trucks available that day!Judge Tijerina encourages everyone to unite and beautify our Commissioners Court curb appeal!Chalk will be provided.
