Live, on-air broadcast of our KHOY 88.1 FM radiothon will take place October 7–11, 2019 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hundreds of guests are expected to visit KHOY throughout this week-long event, which is the one time a year we ask listeners to make a financial gift to our radio ministry. 

The theme of the 2019 radiothon is “One station under God!” This theme was inspired by Psalm 91:4, ““He will shelter you with his pinions, and under his wings you may take refuge; his faithfulness is a protecting shield.” KHOY takes refuge under the wings of the Lord; in the midst of daily chaos, we share His peace and love. Since our inception in 1985, we have always asked for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. That is why every soothing song, every inspirational message and every prayer is carefully programed with the intention to bring goodness to all who tune in. 

The KHOY team, including Bennett McBride and Erica Johnston, welcome listeners to visit the KHOY studio throughout the week. Special guests will be a part of the live broadcast throughout the week, such as Bishop James Tamayo and other priests and parishioners from throughout the Diocese of Laredo. Listeners will share as to why they believe in KHOY’s positive programming and encourage the community to pledge their support.
